MARIA GETS TAMED IN CO-OP's "SHREW" June 17, 2008 By William Hanford Lee, Jr. BJP Entertainment client Maria Lee will be starring as Kate the Shrew in William Shakespeare's romantic comedy THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, this summer at the Actors Co-op Theatre Company in the Crossley Theatre in Hollywood. Directed by Ted Rooney, the production is part of "3 Shakespeariments: A Summer of Shakespeare," at Actors Co-op. It is the first show in the Co-op, Too! summer series, followed by HAMLET, directed by Marianne Savell, in July, and AS YOU LIKE IT, directed by Richard Israel, in August. The shows are produced by Heather Chesley and Stephen Van Dorn.
THE TAMING OF THE SHREW show runs June 18, 19, 20, & 27, 28, 29, with performances on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2:30 & 8pm, and Sundays at 2:30pm.
