Screenings are this Saturday Feb 9th @ 6:25 pm at the Isaiah Washington Theater and Tuesday Feb. 12th @ 3:30 pm at the Wells Fargo Theater. The film premiered at the Hollywood Black Film Festival last June, and won the coveted audience award. I have about 5 great songs in the film, and I’m also featured singing throughout the movie as well. Check out the trailer below on YouTube! SK screened in London last September in the BFM International Film Festival; was in Philly in November as part of the Reel Black Screening series; then in New York in early December as part of the NY African Diaspora Film Festival. The film sold out in London, had a great crowd in Philly and very appreciative audiences in New York. The Village Voice described the film as "stylish... absorbing... Soul Food meets Shadowboxer."
